We are now on Google Classroom! Every student who attends Miss Kim’s will have access to a wide variety of resources to improve your child’s educational experience. Learn more about some of the resources we are currently using!

If your child is using a tablet, we recommend downloading all the Google apps from the App Store. For any tech questions, please contact Adrian Garcia at agarcia@misskims.org.

Google Classroom (app available)

Google Classroom allows our students to join their virtual classroom each day, provides a central location with assignments and resources, and fosters collaboration and communication among other classmates. You will be able to view any assignment due dates and access your child’s own class folder from here.

Google Drive (app available)

An online file storage that allows users to store files and access across devices, and share files. Any PDFs, documents, and other school related material can be saved in your Google Drive. Each student/parent is responsible for maintaining and organizing their files to best meet their needs.

GMail (app available)

Each student enrolled in Miss Kim’s Educational Center will be given a custom (email@misskims.org) student Gmail account. This Gmail account will be used to access Google Classroom and Google Meet. We encourage our students and parents to communicate with each other.

Google Meet (app available)

Google Classroom will provide the Google Meet link to join your child’s virtual classroom. This is a secure virtual meeting that only students logged into their student account (email@misskims.org) can attend.

Google Docs, Sheets, Slides (app available)

Create and edit your Word documents, Spreadsheets, & Presentations. Some assignments may be created using these resources.

Google Calendar (app available)

Assignments with due dates will populate as an event on Google Calendar. School days off are also added to the calendar.

Quizizz (app available)

An in class resource we’ll use to engage and quiz our students. This integrates with Google Classroom to give us a better understanding your child’s strengths and weaknesses.
