Miss Kim, Founder & Educator
I am a married, mother of two. I homeschooled both of my children from Pre-K through high school.
From a very young age, I assisted my mother in teaching at her preschool in Florida. Then, at the age of 17, I began my own preschool that I operated for six years before having children of my own.
From 2003-2012, I helped found and administrate a homeschool group in the Piedmont Triad. I enjoyed helping new families learn how to homeschool and teaching various classes in a co-op fashion.
I have an eclectic teaching style that combines the best aspects of various teaching philosophies. Dealing with each child and assessing their needs as individuals is important to me. I want to thrive and not just survive school.
MISS Rachel
Hi, my name is Rachel. I have always loved teaching children. In high school, I took a class on early childhood development.
I spent time as a student teacher in a first grade class in the local elementary school. Over many years I’ve had Bible studies with young children, preteens and teens. Growing up in a family as the oldest child by 6 years, I often babysat my brother and sister. I also babysat children in my congregation.
I have many spiritual nieces and nephews. I enjoy spending time with children, listening to them and helping them make good goals in life. I have one 7-year-old nephew, who I love very, very much. I really enjoy helping him grow and become a spiritual young man.
Recently, I started taking some of the home-schooled children in my home in the afternoons to do little projects and play sports outside.
It is a privilege to help children learn and grow. I look forward to working with Miss Kim!
Miss Natalie
Hello, my name is Natalie! I’m from North Carolina, and I enjoy helping children by creating steady educational routines and a stable learning environment for the students.
I make an effort to communicate clearly with both students and parents so that everyone feels included and informed. During virtual learning, I’m especially mindful of helping students build self-motivation and responsibility at their own pace. I often use visual prompts and reminders to help keep students engaged and focused.
I come from a background in social media and digital communication, which helps me bring some creativity and flexibility into my teaching. I’m always looking for simple, practical ways to help students stay organized and feel successful. My goal is to help students feel comfortable, capable, and supported.

Miss CinthiA
I was born and raised in New York City. There is where I spent 10 wonderful years of my life working as a teaching assistant for the NYC Department of Education.
I had the opportunity of working in an elementary school with students ranging from Pre-K to 5th grade, to mostly special needs children. Working one on one with students as well as teaching in small group settings allowed me to be a positive and nurturing guide for students and tend to their academic and emotional needs.
Working with children brought a great joy to my life. Their curious minds and heartfelt expressions never cease to amaze me!
In 2017, my husband of 20 years and I decided to move to North Carolina. This change has been a blessing in many ways but most importantly, it has allowed us to re-embark on the adventurous journey of being full-time servants. For this I am extremely grateful.
It’s my great pleasure to join Miss Kim’s Educational Center!
Miss Anna
My name is Anna Pfohl. I am a newlywed who JUST moved to North Carolina! I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY with 2 younger siblings. The youngest of us, my brother- Luke, was born with severe disabilities and I grew up caring for him, then worked as his official caretaker for 5 years.
I have learned so much from my experience with him, and he was and is my inspiration to work with kids. Back home, I had the nickname “Mary Poppins” because I always had a flock of kids around me at every meeting and gathering!
I’ve been paid as a nanny for 13 years. I’ve cared for multiple children at once, ranging in age from 2-13. I’ve worked with children who were homeschooled, aiding them with their course work when needed. I love kids- caring for them, teaching them. I’m happy to help where I can!

Miss Jasmin (VIRTUAL TEACHER)
Hello! My name is Jasmin Morales. I was born and raised in the city that never sleeps, New York. My parents migrated here from the Dominican Republic, a small island in the Caribbean. Being brought up by immigrant parents has taught me so many practical lessons, one being the importance of education.
I love teaching! Whether it be in the ministry or secularly. I have been in the full time ministry and worked in education for over ten years. Being apart of making a positive impact on my students has been so rewarding. To be able to assist them in learning something brand new or being encouraging so that they can gain the confidence to face that new challenge has been nothing but joyous.
In 2019 I moved from everything I knew to a new foreign land called the Carolinas lol. My husband of 18 years and I packed up everything and traveled from the Bronx, NY to Thomasville,NC and haven’t looked back. Since then I have changed my profession. I now work mainly at UPS as a package car supervisor. I have also continued teaching as well as preaching with my favorite pioneer partner, my husband and enjoyed the company of our dog that we, of course named, Bronx.
I’m so excited to be apart of Mrs Kim’s team of educators!
